Seven Chi Phi Fraternity members serve on the Board of Governors. The Grand Alpha and Grand Eta serve as ex-officio members and are the chairman and vice chairman of the body, respectively. The five other members are elected by the Chi Phi Congress and serve two-year terms. The main responsibilities of the Board of Governors are to select individuals to serve as Trustees, replace any vacant Trustee positions, and remove any Trustee not performing his duties.
