If you are looking to start you own chapter of the Chi Phi Fraternity you are in the right place. Following in the footsteps of our founders and the founders of other chapters elevates you to a higher standard then you could have ever imagined.
The Chi Phi Fraternity is extremely proud of the success rate we have when starting new Chapter or restarting old ones. Since the early 90s Chi Phi has hade over a 95% success rate during expansions. This is a sign of the strength of man we look for and the strength of our program.
What can I expect from the Chi Phi Fraternity?
The Chi Phi Fraternity treats all of its expansion as top priority having a staff member on site for no shorter than five days. This week long visit allows for proper officer training, university relations and time to get to know your National Staff. You colony needs to develop a healthy relationship with the National Office during its young years so you will receive two visits a year form a national representative until your group charters.
Your new member program will be six weeks long after which all members of the founding class will be initiated at a near by chapter. The Chi Phi Fraternity is one of the only National Fraternities that initiate its colony members. This means if you are a Senior looking to start a Colony you will not miss out on any of the Chi Phi secrets or rituals.
To get started you should E-mail me, Richard Kuerston at kuerston@chiphi.org this way we can begin a dialogue and get working on a plan for colonization. After this initial e-mail you can expect to:
- Set up a phone conversation to answer any of you initial questions as well as find out some basic information about the fraternity.
- I will then put together a packet of information for you which will be sent directly to your residence.
After this phone call I will contact you school and let them know that we have made contact and are considering expansion to the institution.
- At this point I may request that you go meet with your Greek Advisor
