The Chakett is the official magazine of the Chi Phi Fraternity. First published in 1868, every issue of the magazine connects generations of Chi Phi Brothers and friends by providing a historical snapshot of our beloved Fraternity and the Educational Trust as we Build Better Men. It promotes our organization to the greater Fraternity/Sorority life community, highlights the growth and accomplishments of our undergraduate Chapters, and showcases the success of our Alumni.

Chi Phi produces The Chakett twice a year: A full magazine in the fall and a condensed version called the Chakett News in the spring. While we print and mail a limited number of hard copies, an interactive digital copy of the latest edition, along with previous issues, are available to all members by clicking on the files below.

All Initiation requirements must be completed and the report submitted by the due date to avoid fines. If a New Member is not initiated, the Chapter will not be charged an Initiation fee and his badge must be returned to the National Office.
